Learning Goal (7.11B): We will be able to determine if the given value makes one variable, two-step equations and inequalities true.
Today's Announcements:
- Bringing headphones is part of your daily homework. The headphones that are borrowed during class are for temporary use only and will not be available starting next week.
- Keep up with writing your notes in your ISN as they will be graded at the end of the six weeks.
- Voluntary lunch tutoring is available Monday-Thursday on all days that I am here. Please take full advantage of this opportunity as it is a privilege and an extra resource.
- Please refer to the sign that is posted outside of my classroom anytime you look for me and I am not in my classroom.
- Please check the list at the front of the building to see if you are scheduled to be attending mandatory tutoring.
- All redo's are due this Friday for the progress report for the 3rd six weeks. All redo's must be stapled to the original assignment with all of its answers justified.
- If you have any questions in regards to your grade in math class, please stop by during lunch as I can have more time to discuss on what are some of your areas of weakness and what are your strengths.
- Assembly bell schedule on Friday for Fall dance.
Problem of the Day:
Write a word problem using the pictures below. You must include an inequality and the process to solve it. You may discuss this with your shoulder partner but each one must have your own unique word problem. REMEMBER! Any of the words that are used in the picture titled "Inequality Symbols" would make the word problem an inequality word problem so please make sure to include them somewhere in there.
