Today's Announcements:
- Voluntary lunch tutoring is available Monday-Thursday on all days that I am here. Please take full advantage of this opportunity as it is a privilege and an extra resource.
- Please make sure you are taking out the following materials at the beginning of every class: Mock STAAR booklet, data desegregation sheet, ISN, pencil, math textbook, and headphones.
- Thursday is the last day to turn in $9.00 and permission slips to Ms. Sutherland in Room 109.
- There will be Writing STAAR testing today from 9:00am,-1:00pm. Make sure you bring a snack since you wont have lunch until later in the day.. Please check the rosters at the front of the school for your test administrator and where you will be reporting.
- Tutoring is today from 3:45-4:45pm, the following students have mandatory Tuesday tutoring in the Multipurpose room. Please make sure you let your parents know head of time so that they can make transportation arrangements. A tutoring bus will be available. Any student who does not report to mandatory tutoring will have to make up day the following Friday from 3:45-5:30pm.
- YOUR MATH STAAR TEST WILL BE APRIL 21, 2015.

These are some national averages of wages around America and an estimate of how many people are actually working that job. Interesting I know! Do you have a plan of what you want to be when you grow up?
So everyone of the dollars that they charge you for tax when you buy something gets split like this below. Now if you mutliply it times the amount of dollars that they actually get (aka tax revenue), it shows you where as a nation we are spending our money. LOOK WHAT THEY SPEND ON EDUCATION! INSANE
This is one of the companies that is doing our yearly taxing. In other words, making us pay them.
