Learning through the Meyer model!

Several people have asked me why I switched my classroom to be technology-based. So, here are some of my answers.
If I got you to look this far into my website, then I feel like I am doing something right. I just redirected your attention and turned it into something positive, something that will eventually lead to more meaningful things. Anything that is happening in my classroom is not new technologies, but it is simply my comfort zone. My classroom will evolve everyday as it is supported my students own ideas and interests. This an online invitation to my students to learn in a new way and for us to learn together.
- This approach happened by mere accident as it was stimulated by a simple walk through in a different classroom.
- These technologies were just sitting around in our campus, waiting for me to check them out :)
- Technology is one of our student population's strengths.
- I'm really good at it and I think.
- I was trying to minimize the consumption of paper.
- Technology is not boring and provides the greatest real-world approach of them all.
- My kids can access this anywhere anytime, even if they are absent, they can still be part of my classroom experience.
- My students need something different in their educational experience. Classroom approaches are solely dependent on their instructors strengths.
- It keeps my students interested in coming into my classroom.
- Because even when I'm absent, I can still communicate with my students.
- My teachings will go beyond my students.
- My instruction is innovative and unlike the traditional classrooms.
- Although my classroom is still not fully a "flipped classroom" approach, it is however a work in progress into that direction.
