Homework:
You will make up any assignments that have a score of 70 or below today as homework. If you do not have any with a grade lower than that, then you will need to make sure that your notebook is up to date. You can also write the learning goals for the days ahead so you don't have to write them while we are in class. If you write them ahead of time, you will have more time on your quizzes and problems of the day.

Problem of the Day:
Please copy this problem down along with all of the answer choices. Based on the information provided above, which suits to be the best answer and why would each of the other answers not qualify as the right answer? Please justify your response as you may need to correct some of the statements that are already there. (highlight each circle a different color, you will only need two colors so that you can tell them apart).
ChalkTalk:
Copy these rules down so we can discuss them during ChalkTalk.

You do not have to copy these images down in your ISN if you do not want to. It is just to refresh your memory on the process of converting from decimal, to percent, to fraction. If you do copy them, please put a sticky note on that page so that you can refer to it whenever you need to.

This image i thought was interesting way of looking at rounding. Some of you might understand why the decimal point needs to get over the drawn hill in order for the place value to actually change. If you do not understand this image but understand it a different way, that is ok.

Activity 2: We will do the activity "Whats your answer" with the handout 1-6 (Dividing Rational Numbers Practice AB). We are going to skip 13; 14; and 15.
